Centre for Aquatic Research Scope
As a charitable Not-For-Profit organisation, the centre has a range of goals as its focus. These are outlined below.
- Undertaking and publishing research in relation to underwater data collection, particularly in the context of assessing impacted aquatic environments and the development of appropriate techniques and technology for those purposes;
- Providing publicly available learning resources in relation to aquatic environments which are suitable for use in primary and secondary education and for similar purposes;
- Additional research in relation to identification of potential invasive species in aquatic environments to enhance biosecurity and environmental outcomes; and
- Facilitating relevant tertiary education research projects.
